Join Dr Charlotte Burn and Dr Nikki Osborne for this LIVE Committees discussing Animal Research Ethics (CARE) webinar exploring "Representing the animal: how committees can support animal welfare and refinement initiatives"

During this session Charlotte (Associate Professor in Animal Welfare and Behaviour Science, Royal Veterinary College) will share her experience of animal welfare science and behaviour analysis to suggest how we may better represent the animals’ points of view in decision-making. Understanding animal perspectives is critical for proper harm-benefit analyses, for valid humane endpoints, and for developing refinements that actually matter to animals. She will also answer any audience questions during a live Q&A.

Attend this webinar to learn about:

- how to avoid both anthropomorphism and anthropodenial;

- examples of evidence-based understanding of animal perspectives of common procedures;
