During this session Emma (Professor of Psychopharmacology at the University of Bristol) will give an overview of the 3H's initiative and discuss how applying the principles of this framework can improve the lives of laboratory rodents. She will also answer any questions the audience may have.

- the negative impacts of conventional management and handling methods on welfare and scientific outcomes​;

- how simple changes to housing can provide more natural environments without inhibiting scientific studies;
